I was born in Bridgeport Hospital in 1969 and have lived in Connecticut my entire life. In 1993, I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Business (Marketing) from CCSU and started my career in sales.
As I climbed the ladder with various companies, I did not have a feeling of fulfillment. I wanted to make a difference in people’s lives. When Jen and I bought our first house in 1997, I observed the process and immediately thought, “I can do this better”. In August of 1999, I passed my Real Estate Exam and became a Realtor. I was still working in Industrial sales so Real Estate was just a part-time venture, but I could see that it should be a full-time job itself. As my real estate business grew, I quit my industrial sales job and went into real estate full-time in 2006.
I have been a full-time Realtor since then. I have won many sales awards along the way, including the National Executive Award (with Weichert). Over the years and hundreds of closings, my clients would ask me “Why don’t you become a broker?” and in 2023 I decided that it was time. Jen and I became Brokers and opened Tebbetts Realty on May 8, 2023. We are ALL IN on being the best Brokerage in Connecticut. In my spare time, I train and compete in Ironman Triathlons. I have finished 11 so far, including the 2004 USA Championship in Lake Placid, New York as well as the 2004 World Championship in Kona, Hawaii. I have a PR of 13:10 (Ironman Maryland 2022). Training keeps my body and mind in great shape.
